Nehemiah Group, LLC is a general contractor that provides general contracting, construction management, and owner’s representation services to the greater DC/MD/VA region. We are a company based on the biblical character of Nehemiah. We surround our clients with the technical, administrative, and financial services required to produce a successful project. Our workers “have a mind to work” and our goal is to Renew, Rebuild, and Restore our clients’ program(s) as we carry out our responsibilities on each project. We expand the scope of traditional construction services to address the full range of our clients’ project management needs:

• General Contracting: We have the capability and capacity to self-perform the finished work, mitigating any delays to the “finishes” work of the project schedule.

• Construction Management: We have a robust subcontractor/vendor /consultant network to meet the scalable needs of the project.

• Owner Representation: Our primary business is representing Owners as project managers for their construction projects. Our Owner’s Representation services are separate from an architect, contractor, or legal counsel and certainly not for an Owner. Instead, we act as an agent of the Owner, an extension of their staff, and a proven valuable supplement to the traditional building construction team.  The Owner's representative manages the day-to-day work of all the entities involved in a project. You, the Owner, retain all the decision-making authority, and all the contractual relationships flow back to you. If brought on early enough, the Owner's Representative can work with the project team during the project's design, preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases. The Owner's representative is there to give you professional advice at every step of the process. Experience, influencing skills, and leadership style are paramount in determining the effectiveness of an Owner's representative.
